Re: AGIS OPENCOUNTERMEASURE® SYSTEM

As many of you are aware, there has been a recent uptick in attacks on the data kept on systems owned by private citizens and companies alike.

At AGIS, your data security considerations are of utmost importance, and this is why today we are pleased to announce the release of the AGIS OpenCountermeasure® System.

With OpenCountermeasure® protecting your hardware, any unauthorised entities attempting to access your data can be penalised automatically, obviating the need for direct law enforcement involvement whilst still improving society.

In a breakthrough of hybridised technology, the countermeasure effects overcome traditional barriers, and allow a digital signal to proceed to an artificial adversary, or to be encoded into a viral genome via overlapping nucleotide sequences. A variety of countemeasure effects are available, reducing an adversary's cognitive abilities or physiological capacity for a period of hours or days. More details can be found in the upcoming white paper, to be published in the Journal of Applied Genetics.

The AGIS Consortium has graciously agreed to offer the OpenCountermeasure® system free of charge to citizens and businesses, in the hope that uptake will be swift and comprehensive.

(( An OOC note: if a player wishes to have a "progress bar" semi-interactive event, and has some data they are hiding, they can ask me to set something up, and discuss appropriate "side effects" for those engaging with it. Happy hacking! :) ))
